United Immigrant & Refugee Communities (UIRC) of Vermont INC was established in response to witnessing the constant widening gap between immigrants and refugees in the state, and the existing agencies or organizations that are intended to support them.
CASAN
The Chittenden Asylum Seekers Assistance Network (CASAN) provides support to asylum seekers in our community, and guidance as they build a life in the US. Since our beginning in 2019, hundreds of volunteers as well as local organizations, have supported this work. CASAN is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. CASAN celebrates the ways asylum seekers and other immigrant newcomers enrich our communities through their presence and
